Vic Falls was the end of our time with our newfound friends from Nomads and wow what an amazing place to spend our last day together! Victoria Falls, 1,700m wide and 108m high is the largest, most beautiful and majestic waterfall on the planet. Dr. David Livingstone (apparently a distant relative) first viewed the falls in the mid 1800’s and not surprising, ever since visitors have flocked to view its wonder. The falls are formed by the full width of the Zambezi River plummeting down into a single vertical drop into a chasm ranging from 60-120m wide. The Zambezi was at its peak resulting in Mrs. Wood dancing in the drenching and refreshing sprays as you looked into the chasm.
