Malawi is dominated by Lake Malawi, which shares its waters with Mozambique and Tanzania. The lake slices through the landscape in a trough formed by the Great Rift Valley. The Lake is a shimmering mass of fresh crystal water and is Africa’s third largest lake. Once we arrived at Kande Beach we all knew we had arrived somewhere special. The beach was an amazing place to chill out and relax, with clear blue water that is safe from parasites and pollution, white golden sand that is clean and soft to touch. We dwindled our days by rising at sunrise to capture the moment and take a quick dip, followed by beach lazing, snorkeling, undo competitive beach volley ball, ending the days off with sundowners and drinks into the night.
