Inle lake is a freshwater lake located in the Shan State. It is the second largest lake in Myanmar with an estimated surface area of 116 km2, in other words it is huge! We stayed in the cute township of Nyaungshwe during one of the most important festivals in the Burmese Buddhist calendar, the 18 day Paung Daw U Fesitval.
