At first site you don’t know what to think of Casablanca. We had read a lot online about people’s feelings of ‘getting out’ as soon as you get in. As Sarah and I always do when we get to a new place for the first time we hit the streets, walking almost the Medina ‘old town’ narrow streets. Sitting amongst the streets with a mint tea and espresso in hand we sat back and watched the local Casablanca life walk by. The atmoshpere was relaxed and for the first time it did not feel like Africa. There was that many various nationalities around it felt like we had hit Europe in summer time.
